"My husband and I came here on New Years Day and we both had fantastic meals. I got the sausage orecchiette pasta and he got the pork chops. Our waitress was incredibly nice and attentive. We would 100% recommend going to Jo's if you're ever in the Newport area!"

"In the last two weeks we have been here a few times and it is definitely one of the best breakfast places in the city. What do I love? Consistent, friendly, attentive service even if they? I am full. Note: If they are overcrowded, are you asked to order food? not only coffee, finally there are limited seating and it? what makes the place charming so go with it or not go. I went with him and appreciated the chance to keep my place with an order of delicious eggs breakfast I had never tried. Coffee! Simple brew but always delicious, never burned and full of taste! The cups they serve coffee make you want to stay and vice versa! I prefer this place if he's less busy than Sunday? but love the character, the charm and the fullness of the place! Weekdays are my favorite here! Fresh ingredients from bread to meat, cheese and herbs you can steal the difference in your 15$ breakfast here vs a 8$ somewhere else I take the fare 15$ breakfast with taste and freshness as not otherwise So rare to find!"

"Visiting Newport and came to this place last night for a drink, and wanted to come back for dinner tonight. First, my husband and I both didn't enjoy our drinks from yesterday blueberry mule and whiskey sour), but we liked the atmosphere of the place so we decided to give it another chance for dinner. The decor is cool but it was hot and musty inside. We were sat right away, but it took a rather long time for a server to grab out orders. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time as we had a feeling from the beginning things would be on the slower side. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my husband ordered a burger with cheese $1 extra) and bacon $2) extra. My quesadilla was a quesadilla, not much to mess up with a tortilla and cheese, but I will say it's quite evident the chicken they used was microwaved out of a bag. My husband ordered his burger medium rare, it came the first time around well done and burnt to a crisp. We sent it back and finally when it came back, it was still burnt to a crisp on the outside, but inside was rare as can be. Overall service was pretty sub par, the manager never came over to apologize for the food being sent back, just walked by and gave us weird looks a few times."

"Fabulous seafood! Great location right on the water with outside seat You can observe the seals while you eat! Our server was Matthew and he was informative, fast and delightful. We ate with friends and we all tried a bit of each plate and there was no single thing that was not cooked to perfection that we did not love. We will definitely visit again when we return to Newport!"

I don't even drink coffee that often, but I love the special mix that they only make at newport creamery. my man was a lifelong fan of her terrible drink, which is like a milkshake with ice cream (instead of seeing), but I prefer her frappe that has the consistency so that in a traditional milkshake. we love to visit the location on bellevue in newport and the original cream on the west main road in middletown, where deon and jackie are by far the most friendly and attentive server. my only complaint is that newport creamery no longer makes her own milk/butter/cream. what's going on? that seems...read more"

It was really busy when we first showed up, but the hostess was great and took our number to call us back when a table was ready, so in the meantime we could just walk around the area instead of waiting or going elsewhere.
