"I’ve had to rate 1 star for everything as I was not allowed to eat inside with the dog. I understand if the restaurant chooses this but surely the pub attached could have a dog friendly table or two. Very disappointed so walked to the Ardshiel hotel and was welcomed with the dog. Fab food too! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Last stay in the hotel due to the work. the personal and the atmosphere in the spaces are so welcoming and friendly! eating is phenomenal. I stayed behind the sea house, which is part of the hotel. beautiful large rooms with private bathroom. highly recommended."

"As a restaurant the food is average but pricey. The menus did cater for Gluten Free but it was not very exciting. The chicken breast with sundries tomatoes was OK but nothing to shout about. The cider offering was poor and only had a cheap brand on draft. My wife’s meal was catch of the day that was excellent but none GF selections are more plentiful. Pleasant place to eat and busy with good atmosphere."

"This is a well frequented Chinese restaurant but the food is hit and miss . There is a particular nasty generic brown sauce that seems to pervade in most dishes . There are good dishes but the decor needs addressing they could do so much...better and offer better Chinese food they need to modernise and not take the customer for granted. They are up against some really good food choices in Campbeltown Chinese food is a favourite of most British people so give us the best of it not what you imagine we like."

"Beautiful restaurant in the middle of campbeltown at the harbour. the waiting staff was very friendly and attentive. huge portion sizes, the world-famous haggis nachos are definitely worth an order, although they would recommend sharing! good whisky selection behind the bar, along with local beer."
