Lovely friendly country pub. Fabulous food. I loved my Mushroom and Dolcelatte Risotto with Rocket! (Thanks David)and my husband said it was one of the best steak and ale pies he’d eaten! What User doesn't like about The Spotted Cow:
Firstly the pub is in a very pretty location. The table we booked was not the one I had reserved as elderly lady needed comfy chairs !!! The menu was very limited only options for non meat eating humans . The meal was okay but vegetables were not hot and the portions were small for the price we paid ,cauliflower cheese was also slightly watery. We were also chilly sitting in the bar area! Fab country pub. Food delicious…. A mix of burgers (chicken and beef) and a mixed grill. Service brilliant. Highly recommend
