This could just be our new favourite: ambience, food and service all exceptional..even on a Wednesday night, the place was humming. We will absolutely be back....

"I was here shortly before Christmas in 2018 and still remember. it was dark, I just got the last ferry from waiheke, and I was hungry after a whole day of mountain biking an island without food except a banana. I followed my nose here and I am so glad that I did it. Excellent fishing and chips, excellent beer, friendly and helpful staff (I was not in auckland since 2012 and the dings were changed, I was a bit out of the way) when I returned, I will eat here again."
