We booked a wedding reception at the Clare Inn at the end of October. We had the help of the manager Danni who was wonderfully busy with him. The food, service and support on the day were excellent and the kitchen and staff went to take care of us. We would give six out of five for Danni and the team at Clare Inn if it were possible! Hallelujah!! An incredible pint of Guinness in Auckland
I stumbled across this pub while exploring the neighborhood in 2019. Atmosphere looked great so I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a Guinness. A group was seated at large table and played various instruments and sang random songs. It was a fantastic experience.
Came her Friday after work for few drinks dinner. Got light menu, lamb pie mash potatoes for 17.50. Good value for , couldn't finish it! Great, friendly warm staff, and the live music from Gerry was great. I'd go back :

Great steak. I asked for no chips and extra salad instead, and that was no problem at all. The portions were generous.
