I was a couple of times at cafe viet and can not expect to come back! they have a whole vegan section on the menu, and all I tried was really delicious, fresh, crispy, full of taste. Moreover, they are very friendly, the prices are reasonable, they have local beer, and they even offer a 10% discount for the members of the vegan society of aotearoa New Zealand! I recommend to take teller to share summer rolls with vegan ente tofu bang bang, crepes with a fresh filling. updated by previous review on 2018-05-30

Lose a star for serving meat, but otherwise it is a great place! great service. beautiful ambiente. several vegan options for any cursor. most gluten-free also!

I don't go to many places where I can order three courses all vegan and each course is stand alone yum in its own right. But Cafe Viet does that. I had the Bang Bang Tofu as an entree and wow what a dish. I have eaten a lot of tofu in my life but not had tofu done like this before. Loved the coconut dipping sauce and the tofu pieces themselves were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and just delectable. Both the lemongrass chicken and shaking beef were so tasty and very filling. I had a choice of two vegan desserts but went for the banana which was an excellent choice. I just loved the whole meal and will be back.
