"The minute we went in, we were greeted by a smiling and very accommodating staff. The place is very welcoming even from outside. The food was great! My partner, who is usually very critical about restaurant food, went home with a satisfied grin on his face. And the place is child friendly, which is a big plus for me. "The staff was for our dog, asked if he needed a water bowl etc. They were efficient and nice, especially when they were one of the only food centres opened during the holidays. Overall a very good experience."

"2020 Service and food quality has really gone down hill. Used to be a favourite, but I don't think I'll be back. update 28/09/22 Got takeaway last night thought I'd give it another go seeing as it's been 2 years... no improvement. In fact, it's worse. After watching no less than four orders after mine get served 1st (mine had quite obviously been forgotten), I received lackluster, bland food... Given that a regular size box of Nasi Rice is almost $20, I would expect a LOT more. It tasted like someone just poured a bunch of curry powder over rice. Online delivery service orders seemed to be the priority, whilst people who actually went in store were put to the end of the queue."

"It is hard to do Hop Temple justice with a single rating. It should get five stars for atmosphere and beer, one star for food. Selecting from the vast choice of beers was greatly facilitated by knowledgeable bartenders, and we enjoyed our selections. On a Friday night, the place was heaving, but service was still good. However, six of us ordered food, covering five different dishes, of which one was quite good (meatballs), two mediocre, and three terrible. The pizzas were truly inedible, most of them left on the plate despite two hungry teenagers who normally clean up anything left over. I'd be back in a flash for a drink, but eating beforehand is highly advisable."
