We stopped for lunch. Great service and food was delicious. Our group had the Ballarat coopers pale and pie competition beef cheek and mushroom pie which was sensational, we also had a range of pizzas all wood fired and delicious and the salt and paper squid was the best and most tender I've ever tasted. Five of us went for lunch. It was nice and warm. However the food was not. The Peking duck pancakes were served cold, on supermarket bought wrappers. The roquette salad was a handful of wilted rocket. The beef rib was barely warm, especially near the bone, indicating inadequate reheating. Some chips were lukewarm.
