"Ankor was excellent. we had a great evening dinner there on the 20th. the duck and foie gras were delicious and the apple cocktail from the bar was one of the best drinks I had for years. the mood was nice and the conversation with the cook made for a really great dinner. I don't have any photos of desserts, but we also enjoyed them. prices were what they would expect for a beautiful restaurant with high quality ingredients. I would recommend the place without hesitation."

"We stopped in for brunch at the vermillion room. The brunch had a huge variety of foods, vegetarian options as well. Pancakes were great, the fresh whip cream was absolutely amazing!Staff were very friendly and helpful.This brunch buffet is absolutely worth it for the price, top quality food with a great variety.I'll definitely come back again."

"COWS ice cream is excellent. I was not disappointed. It was a super cold day, but the ice cream was so worth it. So flavorful and they have such great flavors to choose from. Friendly staff too. Wish they had indoor seating but that's not a deal breaker at all. Great place to check out in Banff."

"Very enjoyed this place! we ate in their other restaurant, block kitchen before a few nights and that was so good that we had to try this place. everything we had was so good. excellent service also! the oysters were fresh, lively sauce. we had the grilled skalopp I could eat. the same with the rib-eye.
