"Me and my boyfriend visited Marktküche and believe this was the best (vegan dinner we have ever had. The whole experience was outstanding from beginning to the end. The food was extraordinarily tasty and we experienced surprising tastes and sensations in every course. Our whole experience started with the herb butter, which my boyfriend doubted to be vegan (this is how good it was! . We ordered the 6-course menu and believe this was perfect in terms of quantity and experience. We wouldn't go for less courses because the experience is simply too amazing and each additional dish made us incrementally happy. We also had the wine pairing which was perfectly matched to our dishes. Because we are both vegan, it was especially nice to experience a surprise tasting that usually lives from slow-cooked high-quality meat and fish creations. In my opinion, this was even better than any surprise tasting I had before I turned vegan. On a side note, the restaurant is located at the corner of a street and life was busy around us (bikes, people walking , yet, not loud or annoying to the experience. In fact, we especially loved this location and coziness/ relaxed atmosphere it brought us. Similarly, the whole team was extremely friendly and open for a chat. We really enjoyed this uncomplicated, homely atmosphere of such a fancy place, while still following the restaurant etiquette but adjusting to the guests needs. This is a really unique place. This is for all foodies, regardless of their diet!! We will definitely come back when we visit Zurich the next time."

"Zum Geburtstag einer Freundin wollte ich sie mit einem feinen Thaiessen überraschen. Reserviert übers Internet fragte ich dann per Tel noch nach, ob es eine spezielle Geburtstagsüberraschung gäbe. Sehr freundlich beantwortete Herr Meier meine Frage und sicherte mir mein Anliegen zu. Leider musste ich dann diesen Abend frühzeitig um eine Woche verschieben. Diesmal am Telefon die Chefin, welche weder mich noch mein Anliegen verstand. So gingen wir dann auf gut Glück. Beim Eintreten wurden wir kaum begrüsst. Unser Name war nicht auf der Liste der Reservationen...von Geburtstag keine Spur. Bedient wurden wir vomServicepersonal, das uns kaum verstand und wenig freundlich war. Auch wurden uns keine speziellen Speisen angeboten...übliche Karte. Das Essen kam fein und zügig auf den Tisch, doch wurden wir nachher sowohl beim Abräumen usw. nicht mehr beachtet. Das Personal war damit laut beschäftigt links und rechts abzuräumen, Tische zu putzen und neu aufzutischen für den nächsten Tag. Fragen nach Kaffee, Tee und weiteren Speisen mussten wir selber. Auch beim Verlassen des Lokals verabschiedete sich niemand von uns. Wir hätten auch ohne zu zahlen, gehen können. Gerne schreibe ich diese Bewertung nicht, denn ich war seit Beginn des Meiers in Bülach regelmässig Gast dort und kenne die Freundlichkeit von Herr Meier. Doch war dies mein zweiter, unzufriedener Besuch. Beim letzten Mal war das Personal ähnlich unfreundlich und der Sprache unwissend. Dazu wurden uns die falschen Gerichte hingestellt, kurz kichern, bemerken, entschuldigen und dann die offenen Teller einfach an dem richtigen Ort wieder serviert. Kein Vergleich zu früheren Zeiten."
