My husband and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary with a wonderful date night at the Wharf House. We had an absolutely amazing time. The quaint nautical decor and both indoor and outdoor seating with views of the ocean. The house special cocktail Capitola Breeze was very tasty. What Terrence Wiza doesn't like about Capitola Wharf:
Understaffed with only one server and one bartender on a beautiful summer weeknight. So we can guess how bad the wait times are. Dirty dishes are left on the empty tables so long it's unsanitary. They automatically factor in the tip even for takeout for one person. They probably can get away with bad service since they're the only place on the wharf to have a nice meal.
