"Traveling through town husband found this gem on his phone. It was a little hard to find at night but worth it. It is a very cool feel when you walk in. Small and intimate. owner was super friendly and wait staff as well. Explained menu with the days specials. Husband stationed in Greece for 2 yrs and had the Greek lamb with orzo. He was transported back to Greece. Cocktails are top shelf I had chicken with figs on sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts. I have to admit I have tried brussel sprouts before and I do not like them. Period. These were amazing and if I could make them like this I'd be eating them all the time. The entire dinner was amazing. I left with a full satisfied stomach. No to go box as it was the perfect size. My home in Wisconsin is 533 miles from here. When I travel south again I will stop here!!! Super great owners."

"I don't remember what I got, but I'm sure it was the Philly cheese steak pizza. This is my usual order and they have endless varieties. Every time I go, I try to order something else. I recently learned that you can get another special pizza on both halves, so I'm sure that the ones I've tried will expand. Otherwise, the service is always impeccable, I had no problems with them, whether it has been delivery or business. Food is rich and tasteful and the little one fills"

"I was stopping through Carbondale for a wedding, and per usual, I checked Happy Cow to see if there happened to be any vegan-friendly places to eat nearby. To my pleasant surprise, I found Longbranch Cafe which is less than five minutes away from the hotel I stayed at! The atmosphere inside is really cute and original, and the cafe is located in a historical area of town. The menu labels dishes that are vegetarian, vegan, etc. I picked a vegetable medley type dish that came with a ball of brown rice and some super tasty ginger sauce on the side, and it was delicious! For dessert, I ordered a vegan vanilla cupcake which was super moist and flavorful. I highly recommend this place!"
