"The apple green milk tea tasted great. The Hokkaido coffee latte is okay. I think more coffee a bit would make it great. The service was fast as there wasn't anyone here tonight. They are friendly and knowledgeable about the products they are selling. The bubble waffle taste greats The ambiance is great. it's cozy and clean. "We were passing through Oceanside on our drive between San Diego and Las Vegas when we needed some food. We had three dogs with us so a sit down restaurant wasn't really an option so we figured we would give one of San Diego's popular sandwich chains a shot and check out Board Brew. My fiancée ran in to order our subs and within minutes she was out with not only a Baja Chicken Sandwich for me, but also a warm chocolate chip cookie which I ate first since I'm a toddler. The chocolate chip cookie was fine, but nothing to really crave in the future. The Baja chicken sandwich's description has Marinated, Antibiotic-free Chicken Breast, Grilled Onions, Jalapeño Peppers Melted Jack Cheese on a toasted French Baguette. Includes Mayo, Tomato Lettuce (yes, I copy and pasted that). I'm gonna be blunt here, this sandwich was okay and nothing more. The taste was fine, the size was fine, the entire experience was just fine. I put this place on the same level as a chain like Port of Subs and nothing more.Overall, Board Brew is a fine place to stop for a quick sub and to be on your way. I didn't dislike anything about this place, but I also don't remember anything positive enough to want to actually come back if I'm back in the area. If you are a local, this is a great quick lunch, if you are a tourist, probably better off checking something else out."
