"Our dinner at Jano Bistro was a testament to classic bistro style dining. Simple exquisite dishes, done to perfection. The Jano Tasting Plate gave a taste of each of the three entrees they had on offer. The goat cheese was a highlight of the meal, rich in flavour but balanced with the overall light feel associated with bistro dining. The two mains of Veal and Venison were a continuation of the classic style of Jano Bistro providing not only a fantastic mix of flavours and textures but also presented fantastically. Our service was fantastic, the waiter who seated and served had a great knowledge of wine pairings as well as the menu."

"Each time I go to Goldings, we tend to order a pizza from here. It’s cool, if you order from Goldings they’ll deliver it to you there. No extra charge. They don’t have a specific vegan pizza but you can modify them to be vegan. Proper pizza ovens create light, thin base, fresh toppings. Love it. Perfect match with one of the beers. Staff are friendly and helpful too."

"Outstanding! Excellent representation! Fancy cuisine! Food art! Terrific! I eccentric! Sophisticated! It will blow away your mind! Its all about HIAKAI! Have been there 3 times ! Lucky !!!! Its a must experience at least once ! Yes, it is costly, but its worth it ! Love their food and wine pairing! Stuff is on point ! They take a great care of their customers ! Very relaxing atmosphere! Love it ! The selection of dishes on the menu and the way how they come out are following one of traditional Maōri stories. The story itself is incorporated into the ingredients and the name of a dish. Service is excellent ! Once a new dish arrived, a server will tell you a story how a dish is related to the story and why those particular inferior were chosen. Its such a great concept ! They also offer cocktails pairings. We got it every time we went there. Excellent choice ! They also accommodated my food allergies every time I was there ! You must go there once you are in Wellington. A truly unique place!"
