Steers Colesnurg unable to serve a simple toasted sandwich because of a new system. Whatever happened to helping the customer and using an old fashioned receipt

Had the worst service is have ever had. Food order was taken 3 times before they could get it right, chips was cold and oily when we got it and took exeptionall...

Nice food. Good choices. Lovely place to stop for a break.

Great menu, great service and great value for money. Ideal place to stop before resuming your road trip!

A very restful place to eat and relax after some distance of drive. Very spacious inside. Very helpful and friendly service. Clean and neat.

"Sweet little restaurant in Colesberg. Had the most delicious pumpkin fritters; reminded me of my granny’s. I ate the karoo platter a LOT of lamb which made for an incredibly rich in fat meal but it was delicious. Wine selection is tiny."

"We stopped here while passing through the town after it was recommended to us by a local. Having no expectations we were pleasantly surprised to find a very neat and well presented place. Inside it is very elegant and outside is very cozy with a nice atmosphere. The food was amazing and they are not shy on the portions for what you pay. I would definitely recommend."

"Edit: 3 year laters and the mutton pie is still delicious and the service is still super friendly and good. Plus the thickest dom pedros ever. Original: I had the Mutton Pie with rice and veg and my partner had the lamb burger. Both were delicious. Fast and friendly service and beautiful historic building. If you are in Colesberg you should definitely give it a try."

"Our first stop on our road trip and we had supper at Bordeaux restaurant. We shared the Skaapstertjies which was so juicy and tender. Then the 3 of us had Boontjie-bredie, Chicken pie and Lamb curry. Incredibly tasty and big portions were given. We went to our guest house very full but very content."
