We have dined here on a number of occasions and will definitely frequent again. Cakes and savoury dishes are so tasty. Enjoy a great coffee or sample their teas. The staff are super friendly. Value for money View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about frankies' place:
We decide for a quick lunch with friends, something tasty, but without excess. We choose this place in Darby Street, very 70s in terms of decor, nice, welcoming. From the menu, we choose to sample tapas, a variety of different dishes, including a fried fish which was fairly good. We weren't disappointed, on the contrary, the food was pretty good. A Darby st favourite for breakfast. I love the Vego hangover cure! It's a great mix. The staff are always lovely and the coffee is great too
Came to Frankies last Sunday the 2nd of April for brunch with some friends and it was terrible to say the least. There was a long (hour wait on food) which was understandable but the young girl on the floor provided terrible customer service. She was very unfriendly and when giving us our frappes accidentally spilt it on my arm and leg then refused to acknowledge this/ assist in cleaning it up. My partner ordered the chorizo dish which came out with no chorizo? My friend and I then ordered the avocado on sourdough which entailed a delicious brown avo that was inedible. Overall very bad experience and will not be returning! If only Goldberg's had enough space available that morning.
Can't comment on the food- didn't make it that far. After chasing up a waitress finally put in an order.Waited 45 minutes, was told food on the way but another 15 minutes was enough so gave up and left.Plenty of staff standing around doing nothing when they could have been sweeping the pigeon feathers and rubbish. When you've got so much time waiting for food you notice how crappy the place really is.Wouldn't go near it again.Owners need to check out what the staff is ( or isn't) up to.
