"Above the harbour of newquay, this is a small jewel. cornish cream tee for 2 was excellent value with two huge homemade warm scenes, a pot jam and generous pot of dipped cream and garnished with fresh strawberry slices. with a large porcelain teapot of tea....£7.50 .a quality bargain."

"The first time here. I ordered the bbq chicken and cheese toastia and I have to say it is up there with one of the best lunch I ever had! the part was fantastic, the taste was incredible! the staff was very friendly! the clean, fresh vibe. as easy as a coffee was just great! really could no longer speak of my experience her today and I have passed it on to many friends and colleagues. I will definitely be eating the emily again for future lunch. thanks, great work!"

"Faultless from start to finish. A lovely warm welcome into a festive beautiful space. Our food was outstanding hake for me and venison for my partner. The desserts were so beautifully done nougat glacé for me and sticky toffee pudding for my partner. The service was warm and friendly. We will return as soon as we can!! A gem in Truro."

"It was nice to find this South African restaurant in the middle of Cornwall. Because we are South African ex-pats, we found wors a bit too skinny and dry.
