Was in this cozy place some months back - with friends and another time with classmates. My local friends and I decided to check it out on its re-opening and we totally enjoyed it. The place is still small, intimate and cozy as it should be. The owners were as friendly as ever. He decor is good for groupfies too.Loved my entree of grilled tuna. It came out soft and juicy (as it should be!). We tried their new wines an... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tres Bistro:
Stopped here due to the good reviews, we were very disappointed. We watched our calamari sit at the server station waiting to be served as our waitress was busy chatting with other waitresses. We were asked to move to another table mid meal - to a table the exact same size! There is absolutely no reason to go here. The food is below average and the service is the worst you'll experience in the beautiful Philippines.... View all feedback.
I think they tried to make the food really good for the critics but i was truly very disappointed when i ate there. This restaurant is simply overrated!
This spot is definitely a feather in Dumaguete's culinary cap. Everything that we ordered came out better than expected. The Callos (P290), Lengua Estofado (P250), Baby Back Ribs (P305) and the Spring Chicken (P245) were divine, delicious and delectable. Size-wise, the servings give you good value for money. Service was fast and attentive. This place has piqued our interest, so we shall be coming back for more.
The service at this restaurant is very quick, and the food is delicious. The portion sizes are decent but could be better. The taste is also very good. Although it is a bit expensive, it is still reasonably priced.
I absolutely adore Tres Bistro. The atmosphere, service, and air conditioning are all fantastic. Our go-to orders are the bacareta, fried chicken, cucumber slush, spicy shrimp appetizer, and potato wedges. The staff is very accommodating, especially with our daughter who has autism. We will definitely be returning again and again.
We were a group of five people and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I ordered the fried Lapu-Lapu with black bean sauce, which was freshly made and not from a can. This restaurant is a must-visit for delicious food.
