I was in Gatineau looking to get across the river to Hull when I saw the subway sign. I went in and asked to buy a ticket for the subway and the person gave me a really odd look as if I was speaking a different language. Anyways, I left before too long... The signage was so bad, I couldn't even find the escalators down to the platform. View all feedback.

do not order online from this subway! I had only bad experiences with this special subway. this time I waited more than 40 minutes, even if I ordered online. Moreover, they didn't get the order right, so I had to go back to fix it. they couldn't even give me a refund. View all feedback.

"Celebrated our 30th anniversary there with friends and family before a concert. Owners and staff were very receptive to our needs and worked well with us to enjoy our visit. The wine was great, the food was better. If down in the Market, we highly recommend!!"

"As someone who never had a falafel, admittedly I don't have much to compare how Chickpeas version compares to others.I will say though that I really like the falafel wraps that I've had here and everyone I've brought here for lunch has also liked what they had. Their hummus is also very good and they are the only place that seems to do it the way they do it (their hummus is very, very thick).Prices seem more than fair (about $7 for a falafel wrap which always seems to fill me up,) and you can make it a meal for a few dollars more and they'll add a side dish of hummus plus some pita bread for the hummus.Seating is a bit limited on the inside with maybe 6-8 tables so be warned that during lunch you may not find a place.Service isn't super fast but I think that is because everything is made to order.As they are located in Trainyards, parking is ample though during lunch you may not get a spot in the lot right out front.All in all, Chickpeas is now one of my top places to go for a lunch treat in the eastern part of town. Definitely recommended."

"If you want to treat yourself, this is the place. Delicious food, great atmosphere and amazing service. The cocktails are not only delicious but beautiful. The food is out of this world and very filling. Servers thoroughly explain what you are having. I recommend the drink pairing option to try very special and different wines. They are also able to accommodate dietary restrictions and dislikes."

"Small, charming spot, deftly run by a hands on wife and husband team that cranks out superb food and ridiculously reasonable prices. This was our first Saturday visit, the only day they serve the 18 hour smoked brisket and it was the bomb: in house...bun, pickles, coleslaw and barbecue sauce, with the regions best shoestring fries as well as a side of grilled kale and Brussels sprouts superlative.The brisket was sold out before 1 pm. The hipsters are slowly discovering this hidden gem.This is a must visit."

"These new locally owned restaurants popping up in Orleans are giving many of the more established ones in downtown Ottawa a run for their money.Essentially a tiny lunch counter with a couple of tables for dine-in located near the mall on St.Joseph's, while the place might be small the quality of the food and the value is huge.We had 'The Summer Dress' and the 'P.A. Day' on their homemade egg bun, you can taste the freshness and the care they take in preparing their food. The chain sandwich shops really cannot compare and the other take-out counters located on St.Joseph have some incredible competition in these relatively healthy and well priced food options.They also offer an attractive array of homemade soups and salads.Great fast service as well.One of the best lunches we've had in the area."

"I went there several times at noon, little choice in the menu but there are for all tastes. The fries are great! The only flat is that I find it very expensive for a dinner because the lunch menu is restricted and still expensive. for the middle class. no plates at the bottom of $17 without counting the drink. The service is great, the manager is always on the spot at noon.Very nice atmosphere!"
