"What an amazing spot! All the locals obviously know about this place, but as a 'offlander ' I don 't know even if that 's the right way to put it haha, I was welcomed right away! Such friendly staff that were very helpful with their recommendations. I had to go two days in a row to pick up breakfast. Scones and baked goods amazing and highly recommended. Breakfast sandwiches packed full of flavour, so delicious. Hot drinks I don 't know what beans they use, but heck yes! As a coffee guy, so good! Chai Latte with an extra shot, yes please. Make this a spot to visit. Worth it."

"Anyways, after our hike up to Soames Hill, we stopped by Gibsons Pier. While walking around, we came across this small ice cream shop inconspicuously named Mike’s Place. It had great reviews so off we went!"

"We are here for lunch and food are good and in fair price. Taste of the beer is most important. We have try the Dark Irish shout, Goddess golden ale, ipa, a cider. Like the DIS most, the other 2 also good. Free seating. Great place. Only complain is the food take a bit time to get."

"Convenient if you are travelling in one of the ferries and have time to spare. Only 20 minutes drive from Vancouver, however, easy to get there and worth it on a hot, sunny, summer day. The fish and chips is very good, although I can't understand why in North America they don't do the whole cod. The service is good and the beer is decent."

"Happened to stumble by this place by accident and decided to pop in for a beer.....it was packed!The staff are very welcoming and pretty efficient and easy going.They have a variety of beers to choose from and a pretty decent menu, mostly based around tapas and some meals and salads. Not a vast selection but you can find something on there even, if its just mac and cheese!The menu to my mind is mainly confort food....Please is clean, food comes out quickly, its tasty and the portions are decent.There is parking available for free.Will certainly be on my list of places to go when on the Sunshine Coast for a quick lunch / meal."
