"Yesterday for a frechen theakston with a wife and the two dogs. large beer, very friendly and chatting staff. right dog-friendly pub, the personal make a fuss of the pooches and hand-out tasty for them. we had no time to stop eating, but we probably couldn't have gotten a table out. the food from the kitchen looked great so we book next time. prost."

"Absolutely fabulous cream teas in a beautiful environment. we loved to look at the mill and the gardens after we enjoy wonderful freshly baked scene. good selection of sandwiches also made for ordering. that is something special, not the usual work that is produced for tourist. our young have enjoyed learning about the mill and the interactive exhibits."

"Really had a great evening. Food well presented and very tasty. Lots of choices on the menu. Reasonable prices. Proprietor was aware of food sensitivity and advised on ingredients. Have been once before a few years ago but would definitely return if I was in the area. Could recommend the merlot wine."
