We have been visiting this coffee shop for many years and it was good to be back. The coffee is excellent and there is a lovely range of home-made scones, muffins, pies, cakes etc etc which are all fresh and delicious. It opens at 9.00 which is an advantage as several others cafes in the area have later opening times. What Pekko Juvanen doesn't like about Mountain Coffee Company:
We had not been to this cafe on previous visits to Gairloch, so decided to stop off for a snack. It looks quirky and intetesting. Unfortunately the person seving was rather abrupt, and not very helpful. We had soup that was ok, but lacking in flavour. The bread that came with it was a little stale. Quirky place, a little taste of the Himalayas in Scotland. Vert calm, quiet and chilled inside. Lots of books about Everest plus bookshop attached to the cafe....

The current menu may be expanded on site to include seasonal specialties and weekly recommendations. In addition to a variety of menus, the menu also offers a diversity of beverages and typical house dishes.
