"They served me burnt bread. I was not impressed. We were seated at an awkward table in the corner with very little space. The meringue was overcooked and chewy."

"Scorrybreac is a revelation. We have often wished to go and finally got a table. The service was lovely and the food a crescendo of flavours. I never imagined getting excited about bread! The caraway and fennel was amazing by the way. A perfect menu- the lamb being exceptional and venison so delicious. I got to thank the chef Calum and the whole team have made it a night and experience to be remembered for its style, flavour and ambiance. Did I mention the wine?…we will return."

"I must say that I didn't expect much of this little place, it was good from the way, small and torn off the road, but I was totally wrong eating here was delicious, the best seafood scientist I've ever had, so full of taste and a good portion size. I should add, it was a special case if they did not find that my wife had the beef burger that was also amazing (I have a bite stolen) they were able to serve it on a gluten-free brot that surprisingly tasted good for gluten-free products the staff was nice and warm, a very welcoming little money that I like to return"

"Let's start with the positive. We were able to get a table without a reservation (which is nearly impossible in Portree). Service was super fast and very friendly. The food was truly just ok, little to no seasoning. I had the Cullen Skink, it seemed a little thin, but it was good. Veggies need salt and pepper. Food was fresh, but bland."

"While they don't have a GF menu they have many GF options. Ask the server who will talk to the chef and let you know what is available that day. I had a super yummy lamb chili with tortilla chips. Nice view of the Portree Harbor as well. Only draw back is they close at 5 or 6 pm so come in for breakfast or lunch or early dinner."
