"This place had some delicious beers (Haben der Erdbeersaurier und Porter). Very friendly staff and with a modern yet inviting space. I and my husband enjoyed our food. But it is a little more then I would normally spend on burgers and pommes. With all that is said, I will definitely return when in the area again."

"When ordering new places, I usually like to try their convicted bovine rabbit. Egg River Cafe offers short rib hash. I've decided to try it instead of the beef... I'm so glad I did, it was incredible and hearty. So many other great dishes I would like to try the next visit. Interesting and friendly staff, great service and fast. I'll be back soon."

"Amazing views, food and service. Would definitely recommend when you visit hood flow. The Best Western Resort is located right on the water. This is a must for Hood River to go! The views are great whether you sit inside or outside. We stayed at the hotel and were able to taste all 3 meals during our stay (breakfast lunch and dinner). Your menu is great no matter what time you go, but I think our favorite was lunchtime. (Although the attached photos are from the dinner that was also delicious). Very recommended place to eat."

"The vegan mac is one of the best vegan mac and cheese I've ever got (and I got a lot about the years! it is so creamy, tasteful (a little spicy and the sauteed veggies in it really bring it the next level. the veggie burger was also great, was homemade and contained a delicious chutney among other things beats."

"At first glance, even just driving by, the line outside may seem daunting and not worth the wait, but they're set up cafe style to take orders at the counter. That line moves quickly, and that's where simplicity ends: the food is impressively well crafted, from ingredients to production to plating. It's clear that the kitchen has chops and I'm excited to find another reason to visit this charming little spot soon. (I do hope they put up small disco balls or something sparkly in the doorways to mitigate the flies, though. Asap."
