"Thought we'd try having heard good reviews. Can only say all true food was excellent and the the service was same, chef came out to talk to us. Large portions of good wholesome food, pity that it's not open every night, believe this will change...as they expand next door. Good to have decent restaurant in Dumbarton at last. Will definitely go back, soon."

"Absolutely loved. it was amazing, I had the vegetarian breakfast and my man had the full English and had pancakes, all eating delicious. we were ahead, but not because it was under new management and would definitely be back. staff very friendly and fast service."

"Went today for lunch the food was amazing as was the atmosphere. So relaxed with everyone and not at all phased we had a three year old and a baby with us. It was my daughters birthday which I hadn’t let them know and we ordered cakes and the waiter put 3 candles in for her and sang happy birthday which was totally unexpected and fantastic made her day!!fantastic food service and staff"

"The food is good, but you don't get much of it for the price you pay. I went there all the time and got Enchiladas. They were the full size of a large plate. Sitting on Saturday and it was half that big. My husband has the sizzling beef. Mmm good but expensive for bet"

"Great place for comfort food and a pint. enjoy fast and friendly service, no waiting time, and many screens for the sport. we had the local (glasgow) tennants design beer, although coors light was also on hahn. fish and chips were great. they must go into the bar to order after we were all hired. the bartender even took as a picture of us before the joint. high quality the walk from the cruise port. prost!"

"Really disappointed in this local restaurant and unfortunately will not be back for food that is a scandal as I like to support local businesses. we visited as a family of four and none of us ended our meal that never happened. they use the cheapest French fries and served our poutins cold, which had to be returned. overall as bar it has beautiful decor, good staff and great music, but eating is bad."
