"A small jewel of a restaurant! the food was delicious, friendly and helpful. in portions are large. I had the salt and pfeffer huhn, which was spicy and delicious. others in our group had steak pee, chicken enchiladas and the tower burger. all loved you eating! there were no complaints. puddings also has not disappointed! note that the restaurant is open only on Saturday and Sunday and they have a 2 hours table return time. highly recommended and looking forward to a return trip."

All the food is great quality and staff are exceptional and very accommodating in making sure they specifically write it correctly when taking orders to kitchen. Did not even have to ask for vegan menu was given alongside the main menu! Will 100% be coming back."

"This restaurant was a chance discovery. It is sited away from the center of Greenock on a quiet street. The restaurant was quite busy with parties and families and I was not expecting the exceptional standard of the food and service. The young chef produced an outstanding meal. Starter of Scallops served with Black pudding, cooked to perfection. Followed by a main course of sliced rare fillet of beef with spinach patmentier potatoes and red wine jus. This was outstanding, the sirloin was treated and cooked to perfection. The Chef, DylanTawse, a 23 year old, provided one of the best meals I have ever eaten, worthy of 5 stars in any top restaurant. I expect to hear of him again."

"Went on a Friday tea time and was not very busy. Ordered a lasagne and my daughter had a cajun pasta dish. Waited almost 30 mins for food to come and when it finally arrived the lasagne was sizzling in the dish. All the edges were burnt solid and to be honest, it was mainly melted cheese. Very peppery and stodgy. My daughter said her cajun chicken pasta was nice but very spicy. We had 2 cokes small bottles) and 1 pint of cider. The bill came to £34 which I thought was dear for the quality of the food"
