"Love this Cafe! Delicious muffins and the porridge bread is phenomenal. Veggie sandwich is my go to when eating here. Everyone is always so nice and it was good to see them require proof of vaccination when eating inside the restaurant. Can not wait to go back."

"The Normaway was built before WWII on a farm carved out of the wilderness in the 1840’s. Dave McDonald rejuvenated it in the 1970’s into a popular Inn and home to native music. We visit nearly every year from the US for the music and a fine dinner . This time we chose the salmon and strip steak dinners. Local vegetables and fresh baked bread accompany. My medium rare steak looked suspiciously medium well. A special dinner on a busy night. Dave grows blueberries so I had the warm blueberry pie with whipped cream. Another beautiful finish."

"During our stay in july 2017 . we enjoyed a pizza . excellent . service the same. i recommend this place . only negative is that the restaurant closes early at 8 we were told but takeout is offered."

"We stopped by to cook some seafood for a seafood and decided to snuggle on 5 lbs too. the muddles smell so bad when I opened the bath, I checked the label and they were harvested on 8th august and on 22nd we bought it on 24th. not to mention that they were local and that the day Newfoundland said. we know better about ns when it comes to seafood. the poor tourist that would have been upset. Too bad for you."

"We stopped here to pick up lobster for our cottage and jhad the greatest time. we blanched the lobster and finished the cooking at our cottage after following the expert advice of the lady behind the counter. we came back on our trip out of town and had the best chowder in all of cape breton"

"Now, there are times in the opposite where they have to find a fast meal and sometimes the dings are simply not open. Subway is the answer, many parking spaces on the road and bring them their masks and they are in order. Faster service, I find the subway they make for them to have more budgeted. it is a subway, not a beautiful place, so its good, clean, good parking and well illuminated. an ideal place to take some cheap food before they drive."

"There is not a lot available in the area as far as dining goes so if you are staying at the resort you might as well give the restaurant a try. All in all it wasn't bad, a very nice fresh Caesar salad but the rack of lamb just seemed to be lacking something. A seasoned crust, grill marks, something, it tasted good but was just plain bland. The food was good just boring. Give it a try and come to your own conclusions."
