"This spot is perfect! The BEST coffee on the island, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Amazing baked goods, sandwiches, pastries, etc. and everything is so reasonably priced and comes out quick and fresh. We’ll be sure to make several stops each time we visit the area."

"Chose the breakfast sandwich and it was amazing! Greatly appreciated the egg white only substitution (allergic to egg yolks) and it was a generous portion perfectly cooked. The bread was a giant biscuity jalapeño cheddar creation. Yum! Service was fast. Restaurant clean. Cinnamon roll great. Baked goods looked delicious."

"People drove hours to come to this restaurant for the food! The pork chop with bacon, salmon and steaks are all very delicious. I wish I stay long enough to try all the dishes. The dessert of apple pie with ice cream are so good! Yum, yum, yum! They also had the best gravy (must be a secret recipe )! The food is one of the highlights in this trip!"

"Dinner was by reservation only and although the hotel was quiet, the dining room was very busy.. our waitress, the only one for the 7 tables was very pleasant, very efficient and running!! Food was delicious,and menu had minimal see tons but variations..young lady at reservation desk, was very helpful in dining room as well.. a very pleasant experience and yes would you believe at least 4 tables were on their phones.. that is usually a no,no for us but we wanted to see scores of the Bluejays game!!!"

"We stopped by to cook some seafood for a seafood and decided to snuggle on 5 lbs too. the muddles smell so bad when I opened the bath, I checked the label and they were harvested on 8th august and on 22nd we bought it on 24th. not to mention that they were local and that the day Newfoundland said. we know better about ns when it comes to seafood. the poor tourist that would have been upset. Too bad for you."

"For four New England guys on a golf Mecca traveling from Inverness (Cabot Links) to Ingonish (Highland links) the Island Sunset appeared as the perfect midday stopover on our travel along the Cabot Trail. Upon arrival we discovered the fresh boiled lobster would take about 40 minutes since the pot was full with prior customer orders. So I ordered the fresh lobster meat with drawn butter. Nothing special there. All claw, knuckle meat and some roe while the melted butter had way too much garlic. The side of Cole slaw had to come from a can. The outdoor picnic tables and view of the bay were great but my advice: Call ahead, order a fresh boiled lobster and hold the garlic."
