"We visit this resturant a few times a month and I've never had a bad experience! If you've never been here take a chance I'm confident you'll return as soon as you can! It feels like taking a ride with a friend to his parents/grandparents house to help them/drop something off but they won't let you leave until you've received a plate of food to take home! "Had dinner here after Fall Harvest at Haight Vineyarrd. We are a retired couple who like good food well prepared. That is what we found at the Village. A menu with what looked to be delicious choices, choices which should satisfy nearly all palates, prices to satisfy all pocketbooks. Our dinners were all (there were four of us) delicious. The waitress was very knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. I see that one reviewer complained about Litchfield prices , but, at the Village, a review of the menu shows very good sounding entrees and sandwiches at modest prices. Don 't pass this one up!"

"My friend and I came on 9. March for dinner. I must say everything was nothing less amazing. We shared a cheese plate and the fennel blood orange salad, both were very delicious. The fennel blood orange salad was light and refreshing and the local cheese was great. We also received perfect fours for free to cook that were beautiful and delicious. I had a Bellini with appetizers and got the recommended Cabernet to pair with my strip-loin entree. I have to say that the strip-loin was from this world, along with the kale gratin, potato-leek Custard and onion-Marine. The lard crust and jus on the steak paired with the sides perfectly and was one of the best steak dishes I had. My friend and I also decided to get dessert and definitely not disappointed. I had a delicious espresso martini with the chocolate tempura. We also received free Macaroons and milk from the baked cook. Honestly, everything we tasted was amazing, the ambience was perfect, the timing was accurate and we had a great time. All staff are friendly and it was so nice to have such a relaxing dinner. We will definitely be back in the future and were so happy that we finally decided to dine at Al tavolo. Thank you for a great experience."

"We decided to stop for lunch at West Street Grill. It had been a few years since we were here. Walking in, we were immediately greeted by Mr. O’Shea. He stopped by our table a few times with a couple of recommendations. His focus on his customers, attention to detail and commitment to providing the best experience was obvious. Our food, from the appetizer to dessert was absolutely delicious. Our server, even on her second day did an excellent job. We are so glad we stopped."

"Over the past 7 months I have visited this restaurant every time I am in Torrington. I have never been disappointeden disappointed. Even my 93 yo aunt who is Italian loved this place. The staff is very attentive and the food is awesome. Be prepared to come with an empty stomach or you will be taking home left overs as the portions are very generous."

"I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. From the humble owners to the quality of food. We were blown away! Everything is clean and the service is above the 5-star brand. They treated me and my family group like royal property and the Shrimp Pasta Special was dying. Give them an attempt because you definitely don't regret it! We tried pizza, wings, pasta and grinders. Just amazing!"
