"You know the food is good when in between dives, you're equally excited for lunch as you are the prospect of seeing whale sharks. Menu: The menu has a great blend of traditional filipino, western, and international cuisine. Daily specials also kept the menu exciting...so folks who stayed here for longer periods never felt like the food was repetitive. Service and Food: The staff service is phenomenal and the food always comes quickly. And my goodness is it good! On top of being given generous portions, even for hungry divers, the food was so good that I looked forward to it almost just as much as the diving. Monty's put a lot of thought in the menu and always cares that things turn out great, which incidentally, it always does. For those wondering, each meal usually set me back about USD. Even if we put aside the amazing quality of the food, you can't beat that value. Do not sleep on the Dopey burger or the Pork medallions. It's the ultimate post dive meal."

"This restaurant is located at Padre Castle Resort. We opted for the half board option and had some fantastic meals. Delia the Chef/Owner cooks up some wonderful dishes. Service by the staff was also fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. You can opt to dine indoors or dine outside around the pool area. The ambiance is also fantastic with candlelit tables in the evenings. We opted for half board on 2 of our 3 nights and the culinary dishes provided were excellent. Meals whilst not cheap were very good. On the first night we let Delia surprise us with each course and we weren't disappointed. Make sure you try the Kiliwan-delicious. In fact all meals we tried was delicious with no complaints at all."
