"This was my first time at the Angry Birds Restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. I had the lunch special which included potato/leak soup with ham sandwich. Of course a cold beer topped of a very good lunch."

"The Lighthouse offers a huge , tasty breakfast with all the trimmings. They've changed their recipe for home fries. It used to include more green onion, and mushrooms. Now it seems dry with just potatoes. My favourite is poached eggs or the sumptuous Eggs Benedict whenever you are feeling extra hungry. It's been a local breakfast and lunch eatery for at least 30 years. It's been renovated nicely when it sold 3-5 years ago. But they still kept the wonderful photos of the Picton Harbour and shipping boats sending produce out of the County. Try and guess who is a local!!"

"We were lucky to get a table as we didn't have reservations. They were able to fit us in. We enjoyed the local winery choices and our white wine came chilled to our liking. Staff was extremely friendly and we enjoyed the complimentary bread. We both tried pastas and really enjoyed our meals. Overall we loved the menu choices and it was the best meal we had in Prince Edward County during our stay."

"After a long drive we needed breakfast and locals in Wellington directed us here. We got a friendly welcome. It's a diner with character - lots of album covers on the walls. Breakfasts were good. Eggs over easy, served with bacon, home fries and toast. Service was friendly and our coffee cups were topped up.A good place to stop and have a meal."

"Well we went there on the 6th of August. I asked for 2 coffee which took 1/2 hour, then didn't get a spoon, so asked the waitress laughed and said she forgot and then didn't bring one for 20 minutes, had to use my fork to stir the coffee. Two of us ordered Parmesan southern fried chicken and fries. I was told that I would receive extra fries since they were out of coleslaw and didn't want their salsa. Didn't get the extra. I had said very clearly that I could not have seeds in my food and when I received it there was ground tomato on the bottom of my plate full of seeds which then made the fries watery mush as I am sure it was straight from a can. Two other people ordered bowties with chicken and cream sauce and first were brought pizza as they confused the order and finally when the pasta was ordered it was watery thin.The waitress argued with me saying if I ordered parmesan chicken with fries that I should have known I would get watery canned ground tomatoes. The menu didn't talk at all about any sauces, and she said didn't I know what parmesan was and I said yes chicken with cheese!All in all and very poor service and meal. I most certainly could not recommend the place only to stay away! It was expensive at $25 / $26.00 a meal."
