"We arrived in Picton after a 7 hour drive and a bit tired so not much time to select the place to eat. Saw this well maintained place from the outside on one of the main streets. Service not so friendly, food so so, and a bill of 85$ for 2 adult and 3 children with water to drink, no dessert. Just not worth it!"

"We were lucky to get a table as we didn't have reservations. They were able to fit us in. We enjoyed the local winery choices and our white wine came chilled to our liking. Staff was extremely friendly and we enjoyed the complimentary bread. We both tried pastas and really enjoyed our meals. Overall we loved the menu choices and it was the best meal we had in Prince Edward County during our stay."

"This is a review of the restaurant. The setting is very nice, among the vineyard, right by the lake. My friend ordered the burger and fries. It looked great and the fries were delicious. However, I ordered the grilled cheese (the soup and sandwich option on the menu) and it was a huge disappointment. Since I was at a nice restaurant I expected a cheesey, gooey, yummy sandwich, but what I got was two pieces of plain white bread and one thin piece of cheese about half the size of the bread. I asked the waitress what the deal was and she took it back to the kitchen and had the chef add more cheese. He added about 50% more but it was still about 10x less cheese than what I was expecting. When I got the bill they had charged me $3 for the scrap of extra cheese and the waitress said the chef had told her to add it to the bill. If anything I was expecting to get an apology for the pathetic sandwich or a discounted price. I left the restaurant unimpressed. I will not be returning. The 3* review is because the burger and fries and the drinks were good."
