We visited Porto Moniz yesterday during our holiday in Funchal on Madeira. A bus took us to the other side, the northwest, of the island. We visited Porto Moniz during a West tour of the island starting from Funchal. We had worked out that it was cheaper to have a lunch on the tour than have one locally in the evening in Funchal.
