"I booked Sunday Lunch for 2 people at Llangoed Hall on the hotel website, and received the following confirmation by email: We are delighted to confirm your reservation for Lunch at Llangoed Hall. Your booking details are below: Ref: BRDXVQZR Guest Name: Marilyn Thomas Date: Sunday, 18 February 2024 Time: 2:00 PM Guests: 2 We arrived at 1.55pm and informed the receptionist that we had a booking for Sunday lunch at 2pm. She informed us that we were booked in for afternoon tea and that Sunday lunch finishes at 1.30pm. I showed the receptionist my email from the hotel confirming my booking for Sunday lunch at 2pm, and was informed that there must have been a glitch on the website, and that only afternoon tea was available at 2pm as the kitchen closes at 1.30pm. We then left to look for an alternative venue for Sunday lunch. We also re-checked Llangoed Hall 's website and again found that it was possible to reserve a table for lunch at 2pm on Sundays, despite the fact that we had just been informed that only afternoon tea is at that time. Fortunately, we were able to find an alternative venue that could accommodate us for Sunday lunch at short notice. However, if we had made a reservation for our wider family as we often do, then we may well have been unable to find an alternative at such short notice. Additionally, it was very inconvenient to have our time wasted through no fault of our own. We will not be re-booking Llangoed Hall."

"We ordered a meal for 1 of our grandchildren and sandwiches for us they had black hair on them sent them back to replace but they also had hair in the sandwiches so grossed out won’t be going there again staff said we all make mistakes. But twice in minutes omg outrageous"

"My partner and I went to this restaurant on a whim after a long day exploring the welsh countryside and my gosh was it a good decision. We didn’t expect there to be such a broad diversity of dishes, from 21 day aged beef burger to banana blossom “fish and chips”. We loved the fried prawns starter (so much that we came back the day after to have it again)! The chef is incredibly talented. Nadi served us and the service couldn’t be any better. She was very polite and even had a chat with us about the inspiration for some of the meals of the menu. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely be coming back here!"
