San Lucas Restaurant from Puerto Vallarta Menu

What oceanquest doesn't like about San Lucas Restaurant:
My review is more about honesty and integrity. I stay in PV and had five guest visiting from USA. I made reservation for the six of us half hour prior to closing and confirmed that it would not be a problem. The owner/manager or whatever, I assume did not want to let six paying customes get away, and said no problem ... what he did not say was they were out of Fish, Chicken and some vegetables. Get excited about the diverse, scrumptious Mexican cuisine, which is traditionally cooked with corn, beans and chilies (hot peppers), and you can look forward to the tasty typical seafood cuisine.

"It's a 15 20 minute drive from the airport. Should you make the drive? Yes. And do it again and again. Everything about this restaurant is magnificent. Three of us ventured to Ixtapa to see if this restaurant was deserving of all the rave reviews. The manager Leo, the ambiance, the food, and the service all were terrific. Hats off to Chef Chava for creating a special venue with great cuisine. We enjoyed the small croquette that arrived as a gift along with our wine. Then we shared two appetizers, a plate of dumplings and the seared tuna with 7 sauces. Each was well conceived and prepared. The main courses we enjoyed were the duck, short rib enchiladas, and the steak. We all tasted the other's dinners and agreed that the food here is sensational. Not merely good, but among the finest in the region. Our server, David, helped us with his knowledge of the food choices and the many wines. He helped to make it a special night. We expect to return again soon."
