"A favorite Thai place. We go regularly with friends and whenever we bring newbies they also make it a regular place to visit. Its a small place and easy to miss, but the home cooked flavors are just soooo good. we have never been disappointed. There is an overwhelming variety of choices and if you like it hot, you got it."

"The Cuckoo restaurant has a casually pleasant atmosphere. It's located at the Coombs market, which has a Mexican, and casual cafe ,which are now closed, due to the quieter Fall season, I presume. My wife had the individual thin crust , vegetarian pizza. It was good, not very good or great,but OK. I had the lunch special, a pulled short rib sandwich, with sauerkraut and melted Brie. This was very good, not too large and included, a small bowl of minestrone, or salad, if you prefer. The soup was just OK, nothing special. The short rib was nicely seasoned and bun, was excellent, probably made on-site. They also brought some bread and salsa , and again, was especially good. They bake or buy incredibly good bread. It was busy, with a lineup, outside. They seemed to have adequate staff, but I don't know if they seated the lower area. In any event, there was another group of customers waiting to getting in. Service was good, our food was hot, no complaints there. Overall, I only rated it 3 stars, maybe it should be 3.5. For the price, service, and food quality and quantity, I think my review is fair. Check it out, if you have time and your in Coombs and don't forget see those goats on the roof."
