"By far, the best coffee on the island and perhaps in western Canada! I’ve been a coffee connoisseur for many years, invested in equipment, time and training and seek only the best roasts to suite my taste. FP has surpassed my expectations of finding good coffee in the island. I love the Winter Wonderland blend, Ethiopia Kilenso and the Home Blend. All outstanding. Jeremy is a master roaster and always helpful. Thank you for contribution to the culinary culture on Vancouver Island and the opportunity to order online!"

"Blandish food. Average at best. A bit overpriced for the portions served. Full of locals because there is no other place to go without driving at least 40 kms outside of a taco stand food truck just around the next bend Slow service, only...one server, no smile or welcome, empty table by window we wanted were told was not ready, yet it became available for another couple immediately ?? Felt rushed to leave. Condiments removed while still dining. We were still finishing up and not slow eaters! This was a third visit. I honestly cannot recommend it at all won't be back. Oh and the flooring inside slants, but can be considered charming by some I suppose!"

"Had to wait a long time for our food, no explanation as to why. The fish tacos were small but tasty however the tortillas should be warmed not served cold as they just break into pieces. Our waitress sat us right beside the garbage can...where they clean plates, even though the place was maybe a quarter full. Then the waitress dumped us onto someone else even though she was still working. We are from out of town and made a special trip to the Market but should have eaten at the Italian restaurant"
