"We were surprised when we were burned into a room with a fire in a big fireplace. the menu included a set of home-produced options from their farm, run on organic lines. our choices reflected the timing of our visit, which was part of an autumn break; pheasant terrine followed by a beautifully cooked filet of the venison. the presentation was simple, but sufficient to make the food on the plate attractive, or crooked in the fall of the terrine. that's my preference, let that eat talk. was crafted ice and sorbets. the wine list was sufficient and all producers have produced organic wines. the staff was a little stretched for the pay eating in the night, a series of native came, but were helpful and very pleasant for all. Overall, this auberge represents all the best qualities of a small rural hotel/restaurant in rural france. it is worth a diversion. look it out and take her time to enjoy the ambiente and unexpected joys of this type of eating. you can never eat quickly again."
