"Food was lovely, the taste was great but in my opinion expensive. We didn’t receive a particularly warm welcome, we felt we were a bit of an inconvenience as we hadn’t booked and the lady wasn’t sure if she would be able to squeeze us in. She said she could fit us in in the end but that we’d have to order very quickly before the next table arrived. We agreed, we knew what we wanted but then she didn’t come back to take our order for another 15min so it all felt a little awkward. We enjoyed what we ate but to me the bill for the 4 of us was overpriced for what it was."

"We stayed in Richmond for a weeks holiday and had passed this lovely Inn a few times so decided to book a table here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing, tasty and well presented, so much so, we went back another night. If you want real tasty pub food, this is the place. Its also dog friendly. The beer garden has views to die for. We'll definitely go back next time we're up. Service: 5 Location: 5"

"A very good venue that was decorated well for Xmas and had a couple of fires on. Friendly service and a wide selection of Theakstons drinks on. The chips were great as were the large battered onion rings. The vegetarian mushroom burger was good, but not great. Rather difficult to eat as the components kept falling out, or came out of the sides with each mouthful. Would definitely recommend though."
