"A lovely, friendly traditional pub with a small selection of real ales; the Semer Water (Wensleydale Brewery) is fantastic! My son and I had the steak pie, and my wife had the vegetable lasagne and we were all very happy with it. This was our fourth visit in three years and it is always good at The Crown Inn. "Booked for Sunday Lunch once shown to our table realised that nearly every other table was also reserved! (Obviously very popular, so be warned to book early! The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and our food drinks arrived very quickly. The roast pork, beef lamb we chose individually were very tender and good sized portions. The many vegetables were cooked to perfection too, and we even had room for desserts! Will definitely go back!"
