I and my friend visited and urgently needed feeding after a long walk. very reasonable prices for decent food that came very fast, magnificent view out, but I must comment on how beautiful the staff was. What a great location, right on the lake beside the Ambleside Boat Jetty. Amazing views from the Beer Garden. Unfortunately the afternoon we visited, the bar was opening at 3pm (we arrived at 2.50), and then we were advised they weren't doing food due to staff shortages, only drinks.
