As other reviewers have written, this was a chance find. We were making a cross-country journey from the Cotswolds back to Essex. Mid morning, we stopped off for coffee in the small village of Croughton when we saw an A board saying 'open '. The board was outside the Croughton Tea Rooms. Inside it was a bit like a village hall but not quite. Apparently it had been built and opened as a reading room by a local landown... View all feedback.

We were recommended to visit the Tea Rooms by a local resident and we are so pleased that we went. The staff were warm and friendly and made us very welcome.The food was delicious. We returned for coffee and cakes a few days later.We walked to the Tea Rooms but notice there was plenty of parking space at the rear. View all feedback.
Jacket potatoes are very good especially the chilli and salad just enough. Pot of tea was great with mugs Well done all the staff. xx
Have eaten here before and very good. This morning was poor cold plates bacon dry egg hard. Not the best. Friendly people.
