We enjoyed our visit at this pub, particularly in the outdoor seating area with its delightful surroundings. However, I have given it a 3-star rating due to my disappointment with the haddock and chips. The batter lacked crispness and the fish itself was too soft and mushy, indicating that it may have been a low-quality frozen product rather than fresh. Service was a bit too slow too. Solid pub. Great food. Amazing staff. Plus they have loads a screens for the sport. Lovely fireplace too. Can't ask for much more really.
