Stopped here back in May 2003. It was 2:30 in the afternoon, 16 degrees and raining and the only place we could find that was open. Needless to say we were hung...

"Have just spent two fabulous nights here. The place is full of character,hope they never change it.All the staff were fantastic,Scott and Allan in particular could not have been more helpful and courteous. We ate dinner both nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was also very good with a good selection to choose from. Our room was spotless and warm. We have booked to come back in July of next year for 3nights. Would highly recommend this wee quirky hidden gem."

"I feel as though we have been misled about the view here. The website indicated that “The rooms have views across the Loch, or the hillside behind us.” There is definitely a hillside behind our room, but it is behind a car park. We have...a second window that overlooks a wall and roof of part of the building. We booked 5 days here, immensely disappointed."

"Yet again we presented ourselves at the restaurant for food. As always plenty of choices to consider and even with my food restrictions I still had choices particularly the amount of different soup flavers. I opted for the broth. I also chose a cheese burger with relish and coleslaw on the side. Also chose refillable irn bru glass. The soup was large portion with a lovely homemade flavour. The burger came out shortly after it had a real butchers flavour to it. Really enjoyed all my choices and would recommend to anyone. Will definetely keep coming back."

"Stopped for a (very) late lunch after the walk the west highland way of crianlarich. very glad to find that they have still served food. excellent quiche with fresh on the part of a salad and delicious homemade cakes. beautiful location, we sat outside and enjoyed the company of the inquisitive chicken. really highly recommended, definitiw the way from the west highland way it is worth it very well for hikers marked)."
