"Very friendly atmosphere, good food! Food was average. My SO and I ordered Beef with Black Pepper, Lychee Pork and Pork Belly Spinach Bao. They taste great! "Tucked away in Britomart we tried Ortolana! It has a fabulous covered patio where we had the most amazing meal. The service was friendly and good, but what stood out the most was their accommodation to my wife's dining preferences. She found a dish that she wanted but it contained meat. She requested they withhold the meat and, to our surprise, offered to substitute it with additional vegetables. Unlike many other restaurants we've been to, this wasn't some casual replacement, but a thoughtful enhancement to the dish. It was really outstanding and made my wife feel valued instead of being a troublesome for asking for it to be made vegetarian. For that alone, I would highly recommend Ortolana. But the food and service really shined and it's worth your trip and our future return."

"Had another amazing dinner at Culprit last week to celebrate my husband's birthday. The service and the food were outstanding, as always. Nick welcomed us with a badass old fashioned, starting the night off right. Gatlin, or as we have fondly nicknamed him, The Great Gats, made our night so much fun! We had almost all the food they serve and all we could say was wow. Chef Kyle is always spot on and the seasonal ingredients make his menu the best Kiwi dining experience on offer. Fine dining with no frills, just superb food that keep us coming back over and over again. Bone marrow whiskey shots!"
