"My wife and I had a pleasure to find this place and we have fallen in love with the food, reception,and fantastic service. We had still a long climb up the hill and felt two margaritas would make it easier. They did. We ended up coming in almost every day of our stay. Their margaritas are authentic, no quick juice from concentrate. All ingredients fresh and hand squeezed. We were exposed to drinks in other places, including top notch resorts in Zihua. We like them here the best. Same for food. Simply perfect. JR made us feel at home. We are looking forward to return next year on vacation. To all that made it to this point reading it, head down there. Best food and service is there! Mike and Dorota from Guelph Ontario"

"We absolutely loved our dinner at La Gula! It was, perhaps the best we had on our ten day trip! The menu had a wide selection of vegetarian, seafood, and meat selections.The food was outstanding - we especially adored the Eggplant appetizer and the Grilled Octopus. As the sign outside declares: "Slow Food" be ready to spend an evening eating and enjoying your meal served at a leisurely pace. For us, this was a treat as it allowed our table of nine friends and family to visit and spend an entire evening sitting together over a gorgeous meal."

"We have great food and a lot of fun at Porto di Mare! The waiters are our friends. The service is great. Often terrific music and the food is excellent. My husband and I like Provençal Brochettes de Prawns. They have a wonderful steamed vegetable platter, great salads. For dessert the bartender makes us Muddy Pants - an ice cream drink extraordinare."

"I had mahi-mahi with lime sauce didn’t care for it. The lime sauce was too heavy rich for me. My husband had fish in banana leaf with peppers onions we both loved it. The iguanas alligators were fun to see!"
