We were hesitant to walk off the path most traveled by tourists but based upon the reviews we felt eating here was a must. First we had the shrimp cocktail and it was delicious then coconut shrimp which was to die for and my husband had the whole fish fried in garlic and butter which he said was the best he has ever eaten. The food scene in Zihuatanejo is fantastic but during our 14 day stay, Lety's was easily our worst dinner. My wife had the coconut shrimp (this is what they are famous for? we both found them overcooked and greasy. I had the fish fillet stuffed with octopus and shrimp.
