"Great coffee but the warmth and love has gone. I have recently been away from Newcastle for a while and it seems upon return like different owners now. I remember sitting out the front on the corner and the place was full. Names being called personally because they actually knew your name. The menu choices are very few now and it just seems like the rest of Newcastle at the moment. i.e Quiet. It urges to be noticed but lacks the passion to do so."

"Amazing lunch, Amazing menu. Great for healthy eating. Service was prompt and immediate, lovely atmosphere and decor. Ambience was chill and flowing. Music was nice and meals came out fast."

"Ordered savoury French toast with bacon, grilled tomatoes and spinach. Generous serve and well presented in a timely manner. Although a tasty meal towards the end some of the French toast wasn't cooked properly and a bit doughy."

"I have lived in newcastle for 30 years and I have never been to the last month at wil sons. it was exactly weeping that I like in a restaurant. not too loud or crowded we went on a Wednesday night,) nice selection of eating and drinking...options and great service. we decided to get some teller and each dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. this will be one of my frequent restaurants in the future."

"Four of us went for dinner. The restaurant looked clean but the tables were small. There is one larger table at the rear of the restaurant. This restaurant has a very limited menu. We enjoyed the garlic bread. Arancini balls were tasteless and gluey. The slow cooked lamb salad was dry and flavourless because there wasn't a dressing. It was supposed to contain mint but if it did, you couldn't taste any. I did enjoy the pomegranate seeds and pistachio nuts but the salad needed more greens and a dressing. There was a lot of shredded lamb in the salad. We were asked if everything was alright. When we mentioned the missing mint, we were informed that it was finely chopped in the dressing. I'm sorry but there was no mint dressing on my salad. Mint has such a strong flavour and smell, it would have really enhanced this dish and if present, you would have been able to taste it. We were offered a lemon dressing which was duly brought out. Why a lemon dressing? Why wouldn't you bring out the mint dressing? I ended up using some mayo from my husband's burger. Other meals were nothing to rave about. We did enjoy our red wine! Unfortunately dinner was disappointing."
