"On Monday, May 28th, we took part for lunch at the bank holiday. a party with 8 and 2 dogs, the atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was brilliant and friendly. we tried many dings that were new for some of us, spider crab, scallops and cooked oysters, and everything was excellent! I recommend this restaurant to all, they even had a separate menu for dogs (although they could not come past the doggie ice cream)!"

"We ate dinner again at the mussel in tonight, it is so excellent. Great welcome, great draft jail ale, food is amongst the best we have had. Staff very welcoming and friendly, can’t recommend it enough. We had monk fish Thai tai curry, mussel burger,1 kg mussels and fish and chips, loved it all for my wife’s birthday, well done all, would not hesitate to come back next time , lovely evening."

"This was a lovely pub we discovered on our walk from the local campsite. Amazing old decor combined with a modern dining area and an awesome outdoors area under a marquee. We had light bite lunch which was only £5 and delicious, the staff were friendly and even though we live miles away we will be visiting again........"

"My friends I'm not ready to be in the narrowest room with others, so we were going to eat somewhere outside. they cannot book the external tables they come first. the tables next to the river go first. they decide what they want to drink and make a note of their table number. they will then order outside when paying by card. they can also order drinks desserts by ordering the QR code on their table online. It was very good and it was nice to eat. service was also great. we went early (about 17.45) and eating came out very quickly."

"Today we had a table for 8 people for 2.30 clock. the staff was friendly and friendly. all friends on our table agreed that eating was delicious and well presented. I had the whispers that were cooked for perfection as a main course. followed by various deserts. we were the last ones that were gone. we joked between us that the personal colgate smiles because they were so attentive and helpful. a pleasant lunch between friends recommended."

"Food here is the best you’ll find for miles. We had an amazing 3 course family meal while staying at the Pub visiting family locally. Dishes for everyone, kids loved it too. All the food locally sourced and is made in house by a talented well travelled and experienced chef. Right down to the burger buns and sorbets. Rooms were clean tidy and warm, just what was expected. Breakfast in the morning was the best we’ve had for a while, all freshly cooked to order with good quality ingredients. Definitely worth a visit and make sure you stay for dinner. Will be returning for sure. Thanks again."
