"Comfortable , quiet setting with just the occasional truck passing by Warm greeting, attentive staff. Delicious stuffed dug appetizer and Caesar salad. Entrees we’re all wonderful: Steak Diane, short ribs, fish of the day, lamb is so bucco. Finished with awesome desserts of cashew carrot cake with coconut ice cream, warm chocolate lava cake with pistachio ice cream, apple beignets with vanilla ice cream, and mango and coconut sherbet. We will be back!"

"Given the recent epidemic of look-at-me Italian restaurants in the Zona Romantica, it would be easy to miss this fine, understated Italian restaurant. Not fancy, just delicious. The fettuccine was out of this world, and the passion fruit ice cream was amazing. Good, very attentive,...very friendly service in a place where you could dress up or wear your shorts and tank top and feel equally comfortable. This is not a place to see and be seen, it's a place to enjoy."

"What a pleasure to return to this charming Bistro which has been consistently good for many years. Under the twinkling lights of the peaceful garden with lovely French and timeless American classic music wafting from inside it’s an oasis. We enjoyed two classics, escargots and soupe à l’oignon gratiné. Both were excellent as was the cheerful service of our server Carla. Can’t wait for November to return with friends."

"I visited Trattoria Di Nuevo this evening with a friend to celebrate his birthday. Another friend had recommended this place to me. The friend I went with tonight and I were completely blown away by the experience. First waking in the place is casual but beautifully decorated. A very attractive but rustic inside but the most beautiful spot is in back on the patio where we had dinner. The atmosphere is totally charming. The service was very efficient and extremely friendly. The prices are very reasonable, actually beyond reasonable considering the quality of the food you get. Their claim to fame is their homemade pastas. Everything else was great but he food is definitely the star of the show. We started off with Muscles in a garlic and white wind sauce. The toast with pesto sauce was perfect for dipping in the muscle sauce. My friend had homemade ravioli with salmon in a very delicate white sauce that was so delicious it made you want to cry. I had gnocchi in a gorgonzola and walnut white sauce mixed with spinach and Serrano Ham. It was also incredible. Mine was so good my friend begged me to trade dishes with him. I didn't want to, but it was his birthday so I caved and gave him the last several bites. We finished off with a chocolate lava cake and vanilla ice cream and he had the home made goat milk ice cream with a sweet red wine reduction drizzled across the plate. Thank you, to both the service and kitchen staff for making my friends birthday special and us both having a totally enjoyable evening. I will be back often I am sure."

"We really like this place, food is great, great views. If it's really busy though you may not have a plesant experience. Even though food tastes great, it can come cold or just warm and your order can be incorrect. That said, the Lasagna and pizzas, are great. Really beautiful atmosphere and weekends they have a breakfast buffet with French Toast, Hot Cakes and Waffles like no one else. We like it, they'll fix any problems you request. Worth trying!"
